RULES & REGULATIONS

01- Members are requested to keep cellphone on vibration mode else he will be fined Rs. 100 /- for every offense.
02- Member must go out of card room to talk on phone otherwise he will be fined Rs. 100 /- for every offense.
03- Members are requested to avoid using of unparliamentarily language and maintain silence and else disciplinary action may be taken as deemed fit in case of any complaint.
04- New Member cannot join the table in last round unless permitted by majority of players on that table.
05- New member cannot enter in case of re - deal.
06- No members / guest / should help any player in any manner for declaration of the game.
07- If any member declares the game but cannot show the game properly, then other player cannot help him to declare the game correctly.
08- In case player touches the card in the pack, he has to pull the same.
09- If a player drags the discarded card towards him then he has to take that card.
10- If with the advice or guidance of any player the rummy is declared by a player then the player who advised will have to pay fine of 10 points each to all players on the table and the player 1 out (if any)
11- If any player is caught red handed while cheating on table he will be liable for strict action as deemed fit after following proper procedure.
12- If joker is thrown, the same cannot be taken by the next player. If erroneously taken by the player, he should be declared as "double pack".
13- Open joker can be taken only by the first player. If he packs, the joker cannot be taken by any next player.
14- In case someone shows wrong rummy, other playing members if not come down can continue the game further if they have not seen the deck card. Member showing the wrong rummy and those seen the deck card shall be considered as double pack. They have to pay double pack count or actual whichever is more as their turn comes.
15- After rummy is declared if any player will announce his points less by 2 or more points and if it is alertly pointed out by any player on the table or outsider, then the accused player will have to pay double points than the points payable as a penalty. (in entry double game if the actual count is 9 points then the penalty will be 36 points)
16- If a player has less or more cards than standard number and if he tells it before the game is declared and before his / her turn comes then it will be a re - deal.
17- If a player has less or more cards than standard number and if he declares the game and if pointed out by some player then he has to double pack or count more whichever is higher.
18- If a player shows wrong rummy and if pointed out by some player then he has to double pack or count more whichever is higher.
19- If less cards are dealt and pointed out by any player then additional cards shall be dealt and game shall continue if the next person has not discarded otherwise it will be a re - deal.
20- If any card is found on the ground before the game is declared by any player it will be a re - deal if all have correct number of cards. If the card is found next to a player having 1 card short then he has to take it and it will not be a re - deal.
21- If any member before his turn pulls the card he has to compulsorily double pack as a penalty.
22- If there is last deal of the cut to be played, then the member cannot leave the table without playing the last game.
23- No member / guest can stand behind any playing member. If anyone breaks this rule deliberately then on receiving complaint that member will have to face disciplinary action as may be decided by committee.
24- Member / Guest who has paid card fee can sit in card room on any non - playing table.
25- No one can sit as a substitute except for emergency and not more than 1 deal.
26- Television will be on mute mode except for emergency news. Sports channel are given first preference but on mute mode. However for important sports the volume may be turned on.
27- If member is abusive / non co-operation on table then the majority on that table can ask that member to discontinue playing on their table. However a written complaint shall be submitted in club's office.
28- Members are solely responsible for misbehavior of their guest.
29- A player can announce at the beginning of the game if he has to leave the card room before the stipulated time. It should be agreed by majority of players on the table.
30- In case of any dispute, the decision of the Sub - Committee members / Managing Committee member shall be final and binding.
31- Kind cooperation and whole hearted support of all players is requested for smooth functioning of card room, to maintain the decorum, discipline and dignity of the Club.

RULES REGULATIONS FOR 27 CARDS RUMMY GAME

01- Maximum 6 members can participate on one table, however 5 players shall play with one in and one out option for 6th player.
02- The 7th player has to wait for 2 deals and then 2 tables shall be formed.
03- On arrival of 7th player new table shall be formed. There will be 4 & 3 on two table. 8th member has to join the table of 3 players. The 9th player can join any table.
04- New member has to join the table which has less number of players.
05- Every member is required to play minimum 16 deals or 2 hours whichever is less.
06- On losing money the player can change the table after one hour.
07- If a player leaves the table before 10 deals on winning and without any emergency, necessary action shall be taken as deemed fit.
08- Any members can declare the game if he has -
a- 10 - Jokers
b- 10 - Duplicates
c- 4- Pure sequences with trios / sequences for the remaining cards.
dvDouble jackpot (8 Jockers)
e- 4 - Tanalas
In case of a to e above the player has to take either discarded card or top card on the deck to declare the game else it will be a wrong rummy and the player has to double pack or count more if there are no 4 pure sequences.
09- If a player has 4 pure sequences, then those 4 sequences / trios and other sequences with jokers will not be counted and all the remaining cards are required to be counted when rummy is declared by other player.
10- Count is considered as NIL if a player has 9 duplicates or 9 jokers in hand.
11- If Fantoosh is taken out as joker, the same and all Aces will be considered as valid jokers.
12- If Fantoosh is a joker, then spade queen, spade king, spade 2 and spade 3 will be valid jokers (If agreed by all players).
13- The immediate 2 lower and 2 upper cards of the joker shall be valid jokers (If agreed by all players).

RULES REGULATIONS FOR 21 CARDS RUMMY GAME

09- Whenever kitty master is leaving the table he shall hand over the charge to the second highest card puller while cut for seat.
10- Any members can declare the game if he has -
a. 8 - Jokers
b. 8 - Duplicates
c. Minimum 3 pure sequences / trios / sequences with jokers and no extra unconnected card /s
d. Two jackpots (same suit of joker with its immediate upper and lower cards of same suit)
e. 3- Tanalas ( same 3 cards )
In case of (a) to (e) above the player has to take either discarded card or top card on the deck to declare the game else it will be a wrong rummy and the player has to double pack or count more if there are no 3 pure sequences.
